Refashioning and upcycling clothes

I was having a bit of a clear through my wardrobe which is overflowing with clothes that I've "outgrown" :o( or which have never suited me.... I was going to pop them along to the charity shop when I thought I could maybe try refashioning them.  I've never been brave enough to hack up my wardrobe lol but have been searching for tutorials and inspiration and now I'm almost finished my first remake (pics coming soon!)

If you would like to give it a try here are a couple of links for ideas....

where has spring gone?!

such a glorious day yesterday, the sun was shining and the blossom was starting to peak through on the trees, today you can hardly see the trees for the rain!

Why not make your own gorgeous spring flowers with this tutorial by Laura Howard over at Bugs and Fishes by Lupin.  Would look so cute framed or how about teeny wee versions as gift tags?
